CG/LA has selected the Anaklia Port as one of the 2016 Top 5 strategic infrastructure projects worldwide. The project will be highlighted at the 9th Global Infrastructure Leadership Forum, “Creating the Foundation for Global Prosperity”, on March 9th to 11thin Washington, DC. The Anaklia Development Consortium’s co-founding partners, TBC Holding and Conti International, will be in full participation at this Forum and will host a Georgian-themed reception on March 9th. Conti’s Kevin Cullen, Director of Business Development and Strategy, will present details of the Anaklia Port project on March 10th. Private meetings will occur throughout the event to collaborate on immediate and long term project investment opportunities.
The Global Forum features those strategic projects that will move the needle and that offer specific business opportunities in the next 3-18 months. These are projects in countries that do infrastructure, in sectors where projects will happen in 2016. The Forum features projects from 10 sectors: Highways, Bridges & Tunnels, Urban Mass Transit, Power Generation, Power Transmission, Ports & Logistics, Airports, Water / Wastewater, Oil & Gas, and ICT.
